Liquid Pet Supplement Stability and Shelf Life for OEM Buyers
Before a private label project is approved, a buyer should confirm how a liquid pet supplement stays stable in storage and how long it lasts. These are specification questions, not marketing details, and the answers depend on the formula and the pack.
What do the product pages state?
LANDCE product pages list a shelf life for each product. The urinary care pages, for example, list 2 years. Read the figure on the page for the exact product you are considering, then confirm it for your chosen pack. Do not assume the same figure applies to another SKU or a different bottle.
Which documents should you request?
Ask for stability documentation, a certificate of analysis and the ingredient specification for the formula you select. LANDCE lists stability documentation among the files available to qualified partners on request, together with ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and FDA Registration documents. Request them in writing so the specification matches the document.
How do pack and storage affect shelf life?
Bottle material, closure, label stock and the storage conditions in your destination market can all change how a liquid performs over time. Ask which storage instructions are documented for the formula and pack, and whether the label wording matches them. Do not state storage claims on your own label until they are confirmed.
What should your specification include?
Write down the formula reference, the pack and closure, the storage instruction and the shelf life you need to support. Then compare that list with the documents LANDCE provides. Gaps should be resolved before you request a production quotation. For commercial starting points, see the OEM / ODM buyer brief and the pet supplement OEM packaging checklist.
Frequently asked questions by OEM buyers
Is the shelf life the same for every LANDCE product?
Product pages list their own shelf life. For example, the urinary care product pages list a 2-year shelf life. Confirm the figure for the specific formula and pack you choose, rather than assuming it from another SKU.
Which stability documents should a buyer request?
LANDCE lists stability documentation among the files available to qualified partners on request. Ask for the documents that cover your chosen formula and pack, and review them before you approve the specification.
Does shelf life change with the private label pack?
It can. Pack material, closure and label stock may affect storage performance. Review package compatibility in writing with the formula and pack together.
